Synching Scout Events to Your Personal Calendar

The instructions below will allow you to have up-to-date Scouting calendars on your phone or other personal device. Pack 608 ICS link:

For Google Calendar

• In the left navigation bar, scroll down to Other Calendars

• Click the + icon

• Select From URL

• Paste the ICS link the URL of calendar field

• Click Add calendar

For iOS

• On the home screen, tap Settings

• Select Mail, Contacts, Calendars then tap Add Account in the Accounts section

• Tap Other, then tap Add Subscribed Calendar

• Paste the ICS link in the Server field

• Tap Next, then enter a name for the calendar in the Description field

• Tap Save

For Mac OS

• In Calendar, choose File > New Calendar Subscription

• Paste the ICS link in the Calendar URL field and click Subscribe

• Enter a name in the Name field (e.g. Pack 123 Bear Den), click the adjacent pop-up

• menu and choose a color

• Click the Location pop-up, then choose an account (iCloud will make the calendar

• available on all your iCloud-enabled devices)

• De-select the appropriate Remove checkboxes to get attachments and/or alerts

• Click the Auto-refresh pop-up menu, then select frequency (recommend at least daily)

• Click OK
